Maker, Amy Higgins Stambaugh, explores the elements of wool and all its sense provoking qualities with an enthusiastic and inspired focus.  

The initial attraction of color and texture drives the artist through the dyeing and spinning process, but knitting or weaving the garment into a useful, wearable piece allows the work to exist in the everyday for the person who wears it, loves it and allows it to changed by living in it .
